Other vaccines, including shingles, pneumonia, hepatitis and travel vaccines, are available year-round by appointment so we can make sure your vaccine is ready for you. Many vaccines are covered under the Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) program or your private insurance plan.

Annual flu vaccination is recommended for everyone 6 months and older. Protects against the most common seasonal strains.
Updated COVID-19 vaccines help protect against current strains. We offer the latest Health Canada–approved formulations.
A highly effective two-dose vaccine that protects against shingles and its complications, including long-term nerve pain.
Protects against pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause pneumonia, meningitis, and bloodstream infections.
Protects against liver infections spread through contaminated food, water, or contact with infected blood.
RSV can cause serious respiratory illness in older adults. A single-dose vaccine is approved for adults 60 and older.
Travelling abroad? We can discuss and administer many travel vaccines by appointment, and order in what you need for your trip. Depending on your destination, you may also need a referral to a travel health clinic for certain vaccines.

No. For most vaccines, you do not need a referral or doctor's prescription. Pharmacists in Ontario are authorized to administer a wide range of vaccines directly. Give us a call to find out about upcoming clinic dates or to have a specific vaccine ordered in for you.

It depends on the vaccine. The flu shot is free for all Ontarians under the Universal Influenza Immunization Program (UIIP). Some vaccines, like Shingrix and travel vaccines, may have a cost. Many are covered by private insurance plans. Contact us and we can help clarify what is covered for you.
Most vaccine appointments take 10 to 15 minutes in total, including a brief health screening and a short post-vaccination observation period. If you have questions about your current medications, the consultation may take a few extra minutes.
Your pharmacist will review your current medications before administering any vaccine. Most vaccines have no meaningful interactions with common medications, but there are a few exceptions. Patients on immunosuppressants, for example, may need to time their vaccines carefully. Your pharmacist will flag anything relevant.
It's helpful to bring your health card and a list of your current medications. If you have a private insurance card, bring that too. If you've had a previous dose of the same vaccine (such as Shingrix dose 1), bring your vaccination record so we can update it.
